ProbioBalance by Aliness Sport&Fitness contains 30 billion bacteria in each capsule. Each bacterium has been coated with a double lipid layer, providing an effective barrier and allowing the bacteria to safely pass through the acidic environment of the stomach to reach the intestines intact, where it is expected to exert its biological activity.

In order to ensure the highest quality of the product throughout its expiration date, 20% technological allowance is added at the production stage, i.e. approximately 20% more bacteria to each capsule.

Microencapsulated bacteria:

The patented MICROENCAPSULATION technology is a double lipid layer surrounding the bacterial cell. Such a revolutionary solution guarantees almost 100% survival of bacteria when passing through the stomach/duodenum. Microencapsulated bacteria are several times stronger than freeze-dried bacteria, so 5 times fewer bacteria are enough to achieve the same degree of colonization in the intestines.

Low water activity (aw):

Probiotic bacteria are very sensitive to the aquatic environment. Manufacturers often use various types of fibres or inulin as fillings. Their environment is not favoruable for bacteria because their water activity is above <0.2.
The water activity of the carrier is of enormous importance in the case of probiotics. It is the carrier that has the closest contact with the bacteria at all times. If the water activity is above aw>0.2, the enzymes contained in the bacteria begin to activate, leading to their death.
If we do not use a carrier with appropriate water activity, various protection measures used by companies, such as cellulose capsules, DerrCaps or even aluminum-alu blisters, will be of little use.
ProbioBALANCE products are the first in the world to contain an innovative PREBIOTIC - a complex polysaccharide (soluble dietary fibre) Fibregum™ Bio Law (organic/BIO certified) with water activity below aw<0.2, i.e. safe for bacteria. Enzymes in bacteria with such low water activity do not affect the bacteria's metabolism.
Additionally, Fibregum™ is an excellent prebiotic with much better effects than inulin. Unlike inulin, Fibregum™ is a large polysaccharide, it is fermented by bacteria slower (it has a longer fermentation time), without gases or flatulence as is the case with inulin.
